Sechs Personen kommen aus der Straße in einen leeren, halbdunklen Raum. Dort verbringen sie schweigend 25 Minuten. Sie bewegen sich frei und verweilen, so lange sie wollen, an den Stellen ihrer Wahl. Sie erleben den Raum, das lautlose Vergehen der Zeit, die Gegenwart der Anderen.

Sie können sich gegenüber den Anderen verschließen oder versuchen, eine Kommunikation herzustellen. Das einzige Mittel, das ihnen dafür zur Verfügung steht, ist ihr Verhalten in Raum und Zeit, also: Wie lange und wie oft sie sich in der Nähe der Anderen, oder entfernt von ihnen, aufhalten, wie schnell oder wie langsam sie auf die Anderen zugehen oder sich von ihnen entfernen; Bewegungen können Fragen oder Antworten andeuten.

Nach Ablauf der 25 Minuten verlassen sie einzeln den Raum.

Sei persone entrano dalla strada nella semi-oscurità di una sala vuota. Vi passeranno in silenzio 25 minuti. Potranno muoversi liberamente, fermarsi a piacimento nei punti di loro scelta, esplorare lo spazio, assaporare il muto trascorrere del tempo e la presenza degli altri.

Potranno scegliere un atteggiamento di chiusura verso gli altri oppure cercare di comunicare con essi. L’unico mezzo che avranno a disposizione per stabilire un rapporto è il comportamento nello spazio e nel tempo, dunque: per quanto tempo e quanto spesso sosteranno in vicinanza degli altri o lontano da essi, con quale velocità si avvicineranno agli altri o si allontaneranno da loro; i movimenti potranno abbozzare domande o risposte.

Trascorsi i 25 minuti usciranno uno ad uno dallo spazio.

Six persons enter from the street into a dimly lit, empty room where they will stay for 25 minutes in complete silence. They may move freely, stop at any place of their choice, explore the space, experience the quiet passing of time and the presence of the other participants.

They may choose to stay by themselves or to interact with the other persons. The only means for doing so is their behaviour in space and time: how long and how often they will remain close to the other persons or far away from them, how quickly they will approach the others or move away from them; their movements may hint at questions or answers.

After the 25 minutes they will leave the space one by one.
